Procurement PMO Lead
Job Summary
We’re looking for a PMO Lead to oversee our Procurement Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our procurement initiatives (eRFX and Strategic supplier negotiations) are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The PMO Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing project management processes, templates, and tools, and for ensuring that these are followed by all stakeholders (Category Mgmt., Sourcing, Contracts, Pricing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance) The Procurement PMO Lead will be responsible for the overall project management (tracking, timely execution, and reporting) of Procurement’s value capture initiatives. This role will facilitate ongoing weekly cross functional team meetings and weekly Executive leadership updates (at the EVP level) to help inform executive leadership and drive timely decision making.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team leaders and project managers on project-related initiatives, meeting regularly to review project status, identify issues, work toward resolution, and maintain project plans.Monitor progress against plans and schedules, identifying and resolving problems, and updating project plans as needed.Maintain project records, including meeting minutes, activity reports, and meeting agendas.Implement Wrike as the Project Management tool to support Tender timelines.Maintain project Value Capture plans, including identifying and tracking budget variances, and assisting with budget development efforts.Oversee and manage project communication efforts, including writing and disseminating project communications, conducting regular project status calls, and responding to team members’ communications.Assist with project proposals, including developing opportunities, developing presentations.Establish and update organizational processes, procedures, and systems.Develop metrics and benchmarks.Develop and implement strategies for enhancing project quality and efficiency.Qualifications
6-10 years, or 1-5 years in a related consulting role.3+ years’ experience in a PMO roleProcurement, Global Sourcing, Merchandising experienceExperience leading the implementation of large-scale projectsStrong skills with leadership, conflict management, negotiationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProject Management CertificationAbility to influence internal cross-functional stakeholders.Physical Demands / Working Environment
