Project Management Manager (PMO)

Key Responsibilities:

Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key business processes that are pain points currently and designing an initiative that will help resolve the issue and bring forth change management methodologies to ensure understanding and implementation by the key stakeholders. Leading the execution of cross-functional projects aligned to strategic objectives by designing tactics that will deliver business objectives and strategy and identify impact on applications and business functions, justify required level of investment and ensure risks are considered. Leading cross-functional stakeholders through resolving a business issue through meetings, workshops, discussions, and co-creating working groups to determine new ways of working that will improve the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Participating in global project management community to share, learn and report China Scope projects aligning with the LEAP 28 plans.

 

Key Activities:

Identifying and mapping key business processes and taking a holistic view of the situation; this may include examining elements of the organization structure, as well as processes and systems. Evaluating actions with the businesses / key stakeholders to identify solutions and / or bringing in outside expertise to help with design phase. Act as a strategic business partner to the businesses in co-creating solutions and testing ideas early and often to ensure acceptance and feasibility. Stewarding change and effectively embed and sustain change. Ensuring post-implementation reviews occur to examine the benefits defined in the business case and evaluate whether or not the benefits have been achieved. Developing and leveraging strong partnerships with stakeholders in the establishment of excellence in business operations, incorporating best practices and effective root cause analysis into future iterations of process, tools, training, or guidance. Leading the strategic assessment of continual improvement of the business process. Managing as a peer leader within the organization and actively participate to ensure success of the strategic objectives.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position)

 

University degree in Business Administration or a related discipline Minimum 8 years of work experience preferably with project management experience. A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous. Experience in AI Project Management will be advantageous. Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills Sound problem solving and conflict management skills Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
