Project Management Coordinator
Camana Bay, Cayman Islands.
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00
Hybrid: Onsite 4 Days / Work from Home 1 Day
The Workflow Coordinator will support the team Manager in accordance with all necessary requirements to ensure timely and accurate filings in the regimes the team has sole responsibility to complete. In addition, the Workflow Coordinator will be responsible for the training of team members in Cayman on FATCA / CRS, Beneficial Ownership and Economic Substance filings while also maintaining the internal relationships with various lines of business. The Workflow Coordinator will also be required to oversee any special team projects including, but not limited to Beneficial Ownership, Economic Substance, FATCA /CRS and UAT testing for system upgrades and enhancements.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Ensure prescribed workflow processes are followed by all members of the team, including the completion of all correspondences received from clients, intermediaries, and external service providers. Support process changes enacted by the Competent Tax Authorities in Cayman with the ability to review and update Board Member or Shareholders changes in: directorship, shareholding or updates to the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association (M&As) client contacts in Viewpoint. Successfully process all relevant filings as required by the Registrar of Companies in the Corporate Administration Portal (CAP), CORIS and Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC). Good understanding of the Cayman Island Monetary Authority’s (CIMA) platform to review and ensure all regulated entities are in good standing. Experience using ViewPoint to maintain and update entity level client data, with the ability to report any deficiencies in the information currently stored. Awareness of Regulatory and Statutory deadlines throughout all regimes. Reviewing invoices for correctness in AEOI and Economic Substance Reporting with the ability to communicate any necessary reconciliations. Ability to effectively communicate with clients verbally to collect all necessary client data to complete required filings by deadline. Assist with any ad-hoc projects required by senior management or immediate team manager.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
3-4 years proven and relevant experience in Compliance with regards to the Cayman Islands. Proven understanding of relevant local regulations and best practices Self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as within a team. Confident in managing the daily workflow within the team and with other lines of business. Ability to work under annual regulatory deadlines while maintaining excellent written and oral communication skills; Attention to detail is a strong requirement. Ability to perform at a proficient level the use of: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Previous System Knowledge of the below is a plus but not required: Corporate Administration Portal (CAP) CORIS Viewpoint Laserfiche SAP BillingAt CSC, compensation depends on several factors, including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $52,000 KYD to $62,000 KYD.
