Job Description

HII- Mission Technologies, a global leader in defense contracting and national security solutions, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Senior Project Management Analyst to support our operations. This role requires expertise in project finance, DoD travel reconciliation, DoD purchasing, and proficiency in using Costpoint for financial submissions. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to conduct intermediate project finance analysis while driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
 

Essential Job Responsibilities Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Oversee and manage project management processes, ensuring the successful execution of project deliverables within budget and schedule. Conduct intermediate project finance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting. Manage and reconcile DoD travel expenses, ensuring adherence to policies and timely processing of reimbursements. Understanding of DoD purchasing activities, including requisitions, procurement tracking, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Submit financial transactions, budgets, and project updates within Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements. Analyze project financial performance, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and financial analysts to ensure seamless coordination of project operations. Develop and maintain project schedules, deliverable timelines, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact for financial and administrative project management tasks, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior analysts and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Understanding of Cognos, limitations of funds, managing subcontractors, and FAR compliance. 
  Minimum Qualifications 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. Minimum five yeas experience in Cost Point, Cognos, and conducting project financial analysis for DoD programs Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI
