Digital Services Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to join our Digital Services team at Marine & Ports Division in Vuosaari, Helsinki. In this role you will lead advisory and diagnostics projects and upgrades from a technical perspective, taking responsibility for technical solutions and best practices during project implementation as well as support project managers.You will be mainly accountable for:•Technical responsibility of the engineering, detailed electrical designing and coordination in customer projects from an engineering point of view•Technical leadership and knowledge sharing including collaboration and networking with engineering colleagues within ABB and externally•Supporting continuous improvement of project, system design, product and processes•Working closely with different stakeholders: sales, project execution, commissioning, automation, R&D and warranty

Qualifications for the role

Previous work experience in electrical & automation design and engineering and the ability to understand and apply your expertise in a new technical areaB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Automation EngineeringFluent written and spoken English skills, other language skills are a benefitMarine industry, commissioning, and/or site experience are an advantageStrong collaboration and people skills with ease in communicating in an international environmentSound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, tools, including design tools: EPLAN/Zuken E3, Teamcenter, SAP or equivalents
