1.OVERVIEW

The position of Project Lead is a key player at TransPerfect Translations. Project Leads work closely with their manager and lead a team of two or more individuals. The Project Lead position is designed to utilize the project expertise and technical skills of the individual to train new team members, assign projects, assist with problem solving and support manager in day to day operations of department.  Project Leads manage the life-cycle of data annotation and staffing projects. 

2.DESCRIPTION

Project Leads are ultimately responsible for the quality of work, profitability and performance of their team members, with the guidance of their direct supervisor.  They are not ultimately responsible for personnel decisions.

Oversee all aspects of project coordination (scheduling, sourcing, testing, and management of all data, personnel, and resources) from hand-off through project completion to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery. Communicate with other teams within our company, primarily Recruitment, Human Resources, IT, and Operation Identify and mitigate risks  Review final product and at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy Strengthen excellent relationships with contract linguists Identify and source new vendors with the right profile for each project Manage pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures. Research and resolve payment issues Juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment 3.REQUIRED SKILLSBS/BA required or equivalent work experience 2 years minimum experience in Project Management  Must possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure Possess a high degree of pride in solid, quality work Detail oriented  Must be extremely comfortable with new technologies Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and communicate with all the teams involved in order to ensure the successful completion of each project. 4.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

5.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge of Project Management standards (PMI-PMP|ACP/APM-APMP) Understanding of Product Development cycles  Experience managing data annotation services Recruitment experience Fluency in more than one language
