Job Summary: The Project Lead - Civil & Interior is responsible for managing and overseeing civil and interior projects from inception to completion. This role ensures project delivery within specified time, budget, and quality parameters while maintaining client satisfaction and adhering to JLL's standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and coordinate civil and interior projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraintsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessaryClient Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleConduct regular client meetings to provide updates and address concernsManage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfactionTeam Leadership:
Supervise and mentor project team members, including architects, engineers, and contractorsFacilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholdersAssign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirementsTechnical Expertise:
Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentsEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standardsProvide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the project teamQuality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycleConduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specificationsIdentify and resolve quality issues promptly and effectivelyRisk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesMonitor and manage project risks throughout the execution phaseImplement change management processes when necessaryVendor Management:
Select and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other vendorsNegotiate contracts and ensure compliance with agreed-upon termsEvaluate vendor performance and provide feedbackReporting:
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clientsDevelop and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and meeting minutesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on civil and interior projectsProfessional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferredStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standardsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management software and relevant design toolsAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyJLL offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
