To support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity, you manage the detailed planning, development and execution of capital projects, leading technical development, feasibility perspectives on engineering-related activities within the supply chain, and capital expense project execution meeting the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure adherence to Mondelēz standards in execution.
How you will contribute
Working with key stakeholders, you will define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of mid to large capital investment projects so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided. You will develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. In addition, you will ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented and develop and implement state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. You are responsible for managing several capital project executions in parallel and accountable that the quality and the results of capital projects meet Mondelēz standards in business and innovation processes in project management. You manage engineering resources and people management and development needs.

What you need to know about this position:
You will manage multiple projects from concept/design, execution and all the way through to start-up and technology transfer, for initiatives ranging from growth, productivity, and infrastructure, in accordance with Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S), by leveraging Innovation Initiative Management (IIM) principles that are an integral part of the Mondelez business and innovation process.You will lead cross functional project teams to manage the detailed planning, technical development, and execution of capital projects, including identifying capital and capital related expenses, optimizing layouts, conducting equipment selections, bidding, factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests, to deliver equipment designs according to IL6S requirements (AM step 3, PM step 2), simultaneously tracking cashflow phasing, mitigating risks and maintaining timelines, while meeting the highest levels of quality, safety, service, environmental and regulatory requirements.You will manage communications and project governances within Integrated Supply Change (ISC) and key stakeholders.What extra ingredients you will bring:
You are able to develop, build and track the detailed project plan and all associated elementsCoordinate and align plans and deliverables with cross-functional technical work steams, as well as non-technical functions, engaging with internal and external partners to ensure successful project execution and target results deliveryOwn project lifecycles with direct responsibility of managing their budgets, timelines, build quality, testing, and operational readiness, including confirming the completion and consistency of all projects and their readiness to achieve a Vertical Start Up (lead through project life cycle with zero loss mentality when it comes to safety, quality and efficiency as well as 100% engagement)Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetingsTrack cashflow spend and forecasts, resource utilization, and procurement activities such as development of appropriation requests, requests for proposals, bid documents, purchase orders, etc.Confirm the completion and consistency of workstreams and their readiness to meet CQV (commissioning, qualification, and verification) timelinesManage the ownership and updating of the collaboration sits such as Teams and SharePoint.Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCAD, project management software and SAP.Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Engineering program requiredP.Eng license preferredKnowledge of local regulations, codes and standards as applicable Certifications relevant to project management are considered advantageousJob specific requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years project management experience is required on large scale CAPEX investments of increasing complexity.Experience leading and leveraging cross functional project teams to drive project outcomes is essential.Demonstrated success in the project management execution.Ability to effectively manage a diverse portfolio of multiple workstreams within the project simultaneously, ensuring each workstream meets its objectives within defined timelines.Experience in project plan management and all aspects of the same, inclusive of financials, resourcing, timing, risks, etc.Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas, negotiate priorities, and build consensus across all levels of the project organization. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making processes to achieve project objectives.Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, managing through ambiguity, scope changes, and unexpected challenges.Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and situational changes.Senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines.Having technical knowledge in biscuit/food manufacturing/consumer packaged goods will be considered an advantage.Travel requirements:
