Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Lead to join our team on site in Irvine. In this role you will be responsible for leading simultaneous various capital projects related to production equipment, ensuring seamless project execution within defined scopes, budget and timelines. You will also be responsible for the performance and development of a team of 8 and you will foster continuous improvement, while promoting collaboration with other functions at the site and gloally.

 

Other responsibilities include:

Utilize extensive technical knowledge and expertise to guide the team towards successful project execution and problem-solving.Communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and progress.Manage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and other organizational departments to ensure project success.Develop, control, and manage project budgets, implementing financial planning and cost management for all projects under purview.Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring smooth project execution.

Who you are:

5+ years’ experience in Project Management is essential with the ability to coach and mentor others.Experience in a relevant engineering/manufacturing industry such as Rail, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, etc is essential.People management experience is desirable.Capex Project Management experience is desirable.
