Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

Zenviron is a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy and is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia.

 

Following the continued growth and success of the business, we are currently seeking highly motivated Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers (Civil) to work across our operations, based in the Newcastle Head Office.

Key responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality Manage the interface between the engineering, project delivery teams, and subcontractors to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required Lead the work pack development for the project Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the projects; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project

 

 

What we are looking for:

An Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering Demonstrable experience in bulk earthworks, structures, roads and drainage Site based industry experience as a Project Engineer within the renewable energy or construction industry (preferred) Excellent written and technical skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Clear and engaging communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills Driven commitment to maintaining a safe working environment Proof of right to work in Australia

 

 

To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement. Through utilising your time management skills you will have the ability to manage multiple aspects of work concurrently, and for this we offer an attractive remuneration package.
