Project Engineer
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for performing DeltaV SIS systems engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, and startup activities in a cost- and time-efficient manner. Your activities will always adhere to the standards and procedures established by the corporation, ensuring customer happiness by following project specifications and quality requirements. Your responsibilities will include: + Participating in engineering activities led by the Technical Lead to develop the Functional Design documentation to be submitted to the customer for approval. + Developing the configuration of systems based on the Functional Design documentation approved by the customer. If the configuration is developed by a low-cost engineering center (CREEC, EEEC), you will review the configuration and provide comments for modification or completion. + Completing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in accordance with project protocols. Deviations during FAT should be logged as either corrections or customer modifications with customer agreement, ensuring commercial implications are tracked. In case of corrections, you will work with the Technical Leader to assess the time and cost implications on the project’s financials. + Completing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) in accordance with project protocols. Deviations during SAT should be logged in the service report as either corrections or customer modifications with customer agreement, ensuring commercial implications are tracked. After SAT completion, you will begin commissioning and startup support activities. You will also supervise hours for each activity and advise the Technical Leader and Project Manager if additional hours are required, with approval from the Project Manager for any extra hours beyond the project budget. + Reporting all activities in Clarity on a weekly basis. + Participating in engineering initiatives to improve technical and communication skills, aligning with the continuous improvement philosophy for project execution perfection. **Who You Are:** You are a diligent, proactive professional who excels in leading engineering tasks and meeting project deadlines. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to ensuring quality and customer happiness in all aspects of your work. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + **Education:** + A degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. + **Experience:** + Experience in systems engineering, configuration, and commissioning. + Experience in managing Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT). + Proven track record of working within project protocols and specifications. + Ability to manage time and resources efficiently, ensuring alignment with project budgets. + Experience with continuous improvement and a focus on completing projects to perfection. + None or up to 2 years working with DeltaV / DeltaV SIS or other DCS, Safety, HMI or PLC systems and/or field instrumentation, process protocols + Site service experience is preferable. + **Skills/Knowhow:** + Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams. + Problem-solving skills to address deviations and assess the impact on project timelines and budgets. **Additional Responsibilities:** + Engage in activities aimed at improving technical and communication skills to chip in to the ongoing improvement of the team's performance and project execution. **Our Offer to You:** At Emerson, we offer a competitive benefits package to recognize and support our employees.
