Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team in building a new plant to support the growing Electric Vehicle industry. The Project Engineer will be involved in all aspects of building a $200 million plant, from concept development to commissioning.

ResponsibilitiesDesign the process flow of a new ultra high thermo-purification plant.Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for this process and other related or unrelated processes within the company.Coordinate the efforts of a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSCE).Background in chemical plant operations.Experience with process flow and process design of bulk materials, liquids, and dust/powders.Ability to read and create P&ID, layouts, electrical drawings, and Gantt Charts.Thorough knowledge of thermodynamics, process design, mass and heat balances, and process control and logic.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.Work Environment

This role involves working on a new plant development project within the Hopkinsville, KY plant complex. The environment can be large and dirty, requiring a respirator in some areas.
