Project Engineer
Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of our projects. This role is responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and in compliance with our Safety/Zero Harm culture. Responsibilities + Manage project financial responsibilities + Provide preconstruction services + Assist with project start-up and scheduling + Handle RFIs (Requests for Information) + Process change orders + Manage submittals + Coordinate project administration, coordination, and close-out + Promote positive customer relations + Support the company's culture, leadership, and employee development Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field + 2+ years of experience within a General Contractor (GC) in commercial construction + Experience with RFIs, submittals, close-out procedures, project management, construction management, change orders, and project engineering in commercial construction Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in construction, design, engineering, project coordination, project scheduling, and RFPs + Experience with name-brand clients like Microsoft, Amazon, and Alaska Airlines Work Environment Candidates will be working onsite at a project in the greater Seattle Metro area. They must be comfortable commuting to locations such as Renton, Seattle, and Bellevue. The company offers opportunities to support large projects with renowned clients.
