Project Engineer
Job Title: Project Engineer **For Immediate consideration please apply to this posting and email your resume to habels@actalentservices.com** Job Description Manage and complete engineering projects related to manufacturing processes, supporting infrastructures, or facilities. Implement new and continuous improvements to plant efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Perform detailed analysis, present technical solutions, optimize configuration layouts, and evolve existing/future operations. Responsibilities + Manage and execute projects with engineering and technical dimensions. + Responsible for all aspects of project management including resources, scheduling, costs, and communication. + Report and maintain accurate meeting minutes, budgets, schedules, status, performance, and contracts. + Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, and standards. + Organize official documents associated with submittals, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and supply chain. + Track business documents associated with permits, RFIs, finances, lessons, and improvements. + Procure, organize, and manage parts, supplies, and equipment needed for the project. + Update schedules based on project team input, supplier progress, and material deliveries. + Track, inspect, implement, and administer material deliveries and paperwork. Essential Skills + Project management + Facility layout and design optimization + Capital expenditure (CAPEX) management + Experience in manufacturing, plant efficiency, and configuration layout + Proficiency in budgeting, RFIs, fabrication, and automation + Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, or equivalent in a closely related field supplemented by work experience. + Minimum of 4 years' experience in an engineering position associated with manufacturing or assembling. + Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language. + Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and material engineering principles. + Knowledge in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembling practices and methods. + Experience with alteration of electro-mechanical equipment and mechanisms. + Knowledge in automation integration, electrical box components, and system configurations. + Proficient with Microsoft Office software. + Ability to read, create, alter, and exchange drawings, 2D CAD, and 3D modeling. + Knowledge in plastic extrusion, calendering, and winding is a plus. Work Environment 100% onsite, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is potential for flexible hours depending on project requirements. The facility houses approximately 160 people. You will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager and collaborate with two other Project Engineers, as well as Product Development and Process Engineers.
