Paint Robot Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesAssisting the functional manager with the planning of project deliverables in alignment with schedule, cost, contract, quality, safety, and environment requirementsExecuting and ensuring accuracy of all actions and tasks assigned by the relevant discipline engineer in accordance with relevant documentationAssisting in developing project engineering plans, interfacing with customers, and/or overseeing vendors in order to ensure that engineering plans are developed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirementsCoordinating external support in case of intensive workload or particular technological competencies required. Technically evaluating proposals received from external vendorsEnsuring training activity for customers regarding product use, applicable maintenance aspects, and securityPreparing service plan according to customer’s unique work environment. Informing field technicians on scope of supply, schedule and agreements with customer and on safety documentation and safety coordination with the customer and contractorsIdentifying opportunities for quality improvement of robotics products and systems, and feeds back to appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure improvements as a team
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s or master’s Degree (engineering major mandatory)Basic knowledge of robotics products Preferable experience of software programing skill (C, python)Open mind/ communication, Rapport building and interpersonal skillsLogical thinking and analytical skillsStrong interest of robotics systemNative Japanese and business level of English
