Job Description:
Our client is a top engineering & construction management GC hiring a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent on fit-out and renovation projects in the Northern VA/DC area.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a safe work environmentManage the project change process and punch listProduce, obtain, and organize project management and contractual documentsEstablish and administer the submittal processCoordinate inspections and monitor project billing.Plan and prioritize to achieve high-quality, timely results within the context of project management.Successfully ensure the accuracy of project documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field1+ years of Construction Project Management related experience -OR- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceStrong computer skills with Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of project management softwareSolid numerical and analytical skills for project budgeting and basic estimatingDependable and punctualAbility to develop productive relationshipsWork Environment:
This is a fully on-site position for a federal project in Fairfax County, VA.
