Job Summary

The IOT Project Engineer will support Transocean’s Data Acquisition Real-Time Information Center (DARIC) project for all new and existing TOI vessels to ensure continuity of Rig operations and data uptime.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for IoT deployments, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on schedule and within budget.Ensure seamless integration between IoT devices, edge computing platforms, and backend systems, managing both hardware and software aspects of the project.Oversee the testing and validation of IoT systems to ensure they function as expected, identifying, and resolving any issues that arise pre & post integration.Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on the operation and management of IoT systems, ensuring they are fully equipped to utilize the DARIC technology.Monitor IoT systems daily to ensure optimal performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures and minimize downtime.Maintain detailed documentation of the IoT architecture, configurations, and project progress.
