Project Delivery Team Manager

We’re looking for a Project Delivery Team Manager.

The Project Team cover the UK and Ireland as such there will be a frequent requirement to travel.

What you’ll do:

Safety: Champion safety across the projects ensuring high risk activities is completed to the highest standard with safe systems of work are prioritised improving safety standards

Lead Project Delivery: To provide direction and support for the four UK&I Delivery Managers and their respective delivery teams. The management focus is required during, , pre-sale,  design, planning, installation, commissioning, and the removal phases of the work streams. Oversee the installation, and performance, ensuring all aspects align with Scope of Works and specifications. Responsible for ensuring that the processes are followed to achieve the performance and meets contractual requirements.

Manage Project Costs: Own project cost estimation and performance by ensuring accurate work breakdown structures and reliable cost forecasting. Regularly review cost performance with the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency while always adding any process improvements and efficiencies.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the single point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining timely communication with stakeholders. Ensure a comprehensive communication plan is executed, keeping all parties informed of status, risks, and opportunities.

Support and Manage Project Scope: Facilitate project meetings and proactively manage scope changes, risks, and issues. Work with relevant departments to devise mitigation and contingency plans as needed.

Collaborate on Project Scope and Costs: Work closely with commercial, sales, and bid teams to ensure the project scope is clearly defined. Ensure accurate cost estimates and that the delivery team has the necessary tools to achieve documented project benefits.

Risk and Resource Management: Lead risk management procedures, ensuring risks are well identified and addressed. Drive the project planning process, ensuring resources are preplanned and optimised across the duration of the project until operational handover.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Proven leadership, decision-making, and motivational abilities, with experience managing multiple teams and projects with ability to build and develop plans with their teams providing opportunity to thrive both personally and professionally.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering or business management preferred, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, particularly in the construction sector, ideally energy related.

Project management certification (PMP, APM-PPQ, or equivalent) is preferred

Proficient in MS Project, Primavera6, and other project management tools

Exceptional communication, planning, coordination, and negotiation skills

Ability to quickly learn and apply new project management techniques to ensure successful project outcomes.
