Overview This is an entry level position for a Project Coordinator. Responsible for providing project coordination support for the Distribution Asset Management and Standards department in the development of project scopes, budget proposals, cost estimates, budget tracking and forecasting, schedule tracking, and technical coordination of distribution lines and substation assets. Responsibilities Assists Distribution Asset Management and Standards engineers with conceptual and detailed plans for Electric Distribution Lines and Substation Asset strategies. Including the development of overall project scope, cost estimate, schedule, and necessary drawings. Supports departmental annual and monthly budget process including completion of Budget Variance Reporting for capital projects, forecasting for operating and capital expenses, and ensuring compliance with all budgeting and forecasting requirements including monthly and year end accruals. Support completion of required capital investment documentation for departmental projects. Support Substations and Distribution Standards with coordination of vendors and suppliers for EDO assets and ensures adequate supply levels are maintained. Assists in purchasing efforts for all distribution substation and lines assets including but not limited to Substation and distribution transformers and regulators. Assists data analysts in ensuring accuracy of asset databases for distribution substations and lines assets. Assist in development of Power BI queries and basic Power BI dashboard development. Assists engineers in project technical development and serves as a liaison to other departments to keep departmental project scopes and schedules in line with external stakeholders’ needs. Other duties as assigned by supervision. Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate's Degree 1+ years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of skills and experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Individual possesses a broad skill base and demonstrates the ability to develop strong proficiency in complex software packages such as Powerplan, Oracle, DETS, Cascade, Powerbase, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications with a strong focus on Excel. Individual displays an understanding of the company budget process and a high degree of skill and competency in one or more areas of expertise. #LG&EKU #INDLGE
