Worth, TX. The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team, working closely with the client, Project Manager, and other POWER Leadership in coordinating projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting, organizing, and reporting project tasks, under the client's Transmission PMO team as well as our internal Project Manager's direction. The candidate should be located in Ft. Worth, TX, or surrounding area as the position will be assigned to the client office 2-3 days per week. **Roles & Responsibilities** + Basic to intermediate understanding of projects and how they work + Basic to intermediate understanding of scheduling and coordinating projects (Planning, Right-of-Way, Engineering, Construction, etc.) + Provide coordination, administrative, and strategic support to the client’s PMO team and internal stakeholders (Planning, Right-of-Way, Engineering, Construction, etc.) + Track, report, and analyze project deliverables and milestones on multi-discipline complex projects + Assist with coordinating deadlines and maintaining project schedules for various Transmission projects (Ex. engineering key dates and construction status updates) + Maintain project milestones and key dates, including KPIs, financials, and other metrics using client systems/applications + Track project milestone and date variances (utilizing both in-house and client applications) + Identify scheduling issues/risks and escalate as needed + Monitor data quality and identify improvement opportunities + Provide teams and stakeholders with actionable insights based on data to support decision-making efforts + Communicate and present technical information with non-technical team members and stakeholders + Work closely with multiple client stakeholders with a focus on relationship-building + Attend and facilitate meetings (with the client, stakeholders, and/or contractors) + Must work in client office 2-3 days per week + Handle miscellaneous ad hoc requests and reporting by internal team and client **Required Education/Experience** + BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management and/or related field experience + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications + Basic to intermediate Excel skills + Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation + A self-starter who works independently and as part of a team + Creative, innovative and strategic mindset (continuous process improvement) + Problem solver and work closely with TPMO team and stakeholders to resolve scheduling issues/constraints **Desired Education/Experience** + Electrical utility experience + One (1) to Three (3) years of professional experience + Experience with project scheduling, MS Visio, and Data Management Systems + Experience utilizing dashboards, Power BI, Smartsheet, or a similar platform + Certification from AACE or PMI At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
