Your Role:

 

The incumbent will assist the St. Louis Hub Engineering team as needed for St. Louis projects. Support departmental process improvement efforts based on annual objectives. This position is based in St. Louis at 3050 Spruce Street.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide project management coordination for small, medium, and large capital projects, from project initiation through start-up, turnover, and project closureManage field construction work in support of projectsDevelop project requirements, deliverables, schedules, and budgetManage capital project scope, budget, and schedule through project life cycleProcure necessary contractors, materials, and equipment to support projects. Work with General Contractors, skilled construction workers, internal skilled resources, and EngineersCoordinate schedules with stakeholders and manufacturing, manage the day-to-day project activity, and manage the knowledge transfer from end of project to manufacturing startupResponsible for the turnover package to site support teams including AutoCAD drawings, PM plans, spare parts, asset records, and knowledge transferDeliver safety above all else, drive a zero-injury culture grounded in proactive risk managementResponsible for installation and maintainability of GMP utilities, facilities, and equipment (including automation equipment) such as but not limited to HVAC, compressed gases, process water, clean steam, chilled water, cleanrooms, isolators, HEPA filtration, etc.Ensures successful project knowledge transfer to site manufacturing and maintenance teamsSupports capital planning and reportingSupports the Management of Change process and utilizes good documentation practicesEnsures team utilizes safe work practicesIssues work permits regularly. May also perform job hazard analysis, equipment assessments, failure fault trees, and risk assessments to drive continuously safe cultureWorks with contractors daily to complete work on scheduleMonitors the performance and results of the construction team including safety, quality, reliability Purchase material as neededEnsures/supports GMP compliance (e.g. work order processing, good documentation practices, change management process, deviation review, CAPA assignments, etc.)Performs effective problem solving and root cause analysis to resolve issues, develop options, and prevent reoccurrenceWork closely with site EHS, Quality and Mechanical Integrity to develop engineering solutions-R

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 1+ years of experience working with any trade discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Architecture, Construction Management, Process Engineering, etc.)Experience working in the construction industry managing construction projects Experience working in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry managing construction projects Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and team building skillsWorking with third party contractors, construction industry, engineers, electrical, mechanical, plumbing coordinating projects and proposals
