Job Description:
Position Purpose:
The Project Coordinator will facilitate the day-to-day implementation of field research for a grant funded project in the area of substance use behaviors. Responsibilities include overseeing data collection from participants (including recruitment, assessment administration, and communication), preparation of online, in-person, and smartphone measures, documenting project procedures, oversight and training of Research Assistants, organization, scoring, and management of data and helping with data analysis, progress report preparation for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and NIH, and assisting with manuscript and presentation preparation.
Major responsibilities include:
Manage data collection of enrolled participants 35%
Coordinate research participant recruitment and enrollment 20%
Manage research assistants and team meetings 20%
Document project procedures and assessment batteries15%
Data analysis and report preparation10%
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Job Competencies:
Required: Experience in research design and with human subjects research, including IRB approved research
Required: Experience working on demanding research protocols that have a need for a high degree of attention to detail
Required: Highly collaborative, communicative, and interactive as a team member
Required: Proficiency in Google Documents, Word and Excel
Experience managing databases is preferred
Experience supervising others is preferred
Experience in the fields of addiction and/or substance abuse is preferred

This is a fixed term position with a 12/31/26 end date and may be extended based upon available funding.
This position will be mostly on-site with possible remote work
