  The Position Proposition:                                                                                                                                                                     

The Project Controls Manager - Edison will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of power delivery projects by implementing and overseeing robust project controls systems and processes.

This role is based in the San Dimas, CA area. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in project controls management within the power delivery or utility industry. Edison builds, maintains, and repairs electric transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure. Our team has over 75 years of collective experience with field and management capabilities in rugged and challenging terrains throughout all regions of the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement project controls procedures and systems to monitor and track project performance, including cost, schedule, and scope. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish project baselines and performance metrics. Lead the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Provide controls of projects in accordance with Primoris Policies and Procedures and all associated SOX approvals, processes, and documentation. Facilitate project status review meetings with operations and project management teams to discuss and validate forecasts. Generate and analyze project performance reports, trends, and forecasts to provide timely and accurate insights to project teams and management. Facilitate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and contingency planning. Support project change management processes, including the evaluation of change requests and impact analysis on project cost and schedule. Provide leadership and guidance to project controls team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Drive efficiency and effectiveness in project controls processes through the implementation of best practices, tools, and technologies.  Educational & Minimum Requirements:                                                                                                                                           Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls management within the power delivery or utility industry. Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
