DESCRIPTION:
As a Project Controls Engineer at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the Construction Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist project team with both management and financial aspects of constructing the project Manage the change order process for the project mainly related to tracking and pricing time and materials work Manage, design changes, RFIs and contract change orders Track quantities, labor and equipment rates, perform cost control, cost reporting, cost analysis and procurement As project progresses assignment may transition into a field or tunnel heading engineerREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution 3 or more years of construction experience on tunneling, mining, or heavy civil projects Previous experience managing change orders, tracking quantities, labor and equipment rates, updating schedules and performing cost control Previous experience on tunnel projects with slurry technology preferred Previous experience on gas/oil pipelines preferredFrontier-Kemper builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
