Job Title: Project Controls Analyst (PCA)

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 1+ year contract + extensions

Overview:

The position provides project oversight, scheduling, control and analysis for Electrical underground distribution projects. Multiple projects are supported simultaneously. The position requires a thorough understanding of project cost and schedule controls and project management methodologies, strong computer skills, and enhanced verbal and written communication skills. Employee works independently with general direction and applies judgment to set priorities and complete tasks.

Required Skills:

- Financial/analytics experience: Cost controls, cost tracking, data entry, budgets, purchase requisitions, forecasting, accruals, data quality maintenance, prepping project authorizations

- Excel (used heavily)

- Scheduling (P6)

They say their schedules are very simple and easy to teach. As long as they have some sort of scheduling experience or a good understanding

- Administrative Tasks

- Great communicator

1:2 Ratio - they will be assigned 2 PM's they will be in constant communication with

- Construction / Utilities experience

Understanding of the construction project lifecycle

- Accounting / Finances

- Soft Skills: Curious, attention to detail, analytical

Bonus Skills:

- SAP

- P6

- Construction - and understanding the construction lifecycle

Degrees:

- Econ, Finance, Business, Construction Management
