Description: Actalent is seeking a 6+ year Project Architect who has a professional degree that can help to organize sets, coordinate with consultants and assist with drawings in Revit. This person will be responsible for designing and processing a project from conception through construction documentation. Will coordinate with consultants, visit project sites, attend client meetings, etc. Candidates should have experience working on commercial ground up projects and must have experience in K-12 projects. Will get 4-6 days a month remote (typically MWF are in office and people take Tues or Thurs remote) + Minority/Woman Owner Firm - Teams with larger firms on big projects + 2 weeks of PTO, sick time accrued per state requirements (max 48 hours/year) - 3 weeks of PTO after 3 years with firm + 8 paid holidays - 6 federal holidays + 2 floating holidays + Pay 100% premium of employees medical, vision & dental once permanent (use Kaiser currently) + Have Jedi Committee to focuses on diversity, equity & inclusion Skills & Qualifications: + Minimum 6+ years of experience as an Architect/Designer in a firm + Licensed Architect + K-12 project experience + Strong knowledge of the design process, construction documentation and administration. + Strong knowledge of the residential/commercial construction, zoning and building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems. + Strong knowledge of material, detailing, and systems coordination. + Collaborative and professional work ethic, and the ability to solve difficult coordination issues as they arise with professionalism. + Organizational and time management skills + Excellent verbal and communication skills. + Competence with: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup + Hand drawing skills, Lumion and BIM experience are a plus + NAAB Accredited Architecture Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
