Project Activity Manager- 12 months FTC
Location: Slough/Maidenhead + 50% Hybrid Working
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Project Activity Manager will oversee cross functional teams to deliver projects within challenging timelines. The role is critical in ensuring delivery of the Drinks & Treats innovation pipeline and other product activities whilst maintaining quality, speed and agility. These projects include new product development, core product optimisation and structural changes such as system/process implementation.
What are we looking for?Experience managing and delivering complex projects through cross-functional teams.Proven track record of delivering successful projects, with experience working with 3rd party suppliers (ideally in food manufacturing).Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.Highly organized, driven, and a strong problem-solver, with a proactive approach to making things happen.What will be your key responsibilities?Oversee projects from brief to market completion across multiple categories.Organize and drive cross-functional teams to meet activity objectives and deliverables.Serve as a neutral mediator, guiding critical conversations to ensure proper conclusions.Manage project timelines, identify critical paths, and solve issues to keep projects on track.Share learnings with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.Within 3 months, you’ll lead project meetings; by 6 months, motivate teams and understand their impact on the business.What can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
