Job Duties
Establish the billing format for client approval, prepare billings in conformance with the terms and conditions of the contract, input invoice information into accounting system. Extraction and analysis of project costs across various categories such as labor, materials, and overhead as well as verify accuracy with the Project Management team. Compile backup for billing documents. Assist the Project Management Team with accurate forecasting of estimates and monthly billing accruals based on historical data and other factors. Assist pre-construction team in analysis of historical data to produce accurate estimates for Fee + General Contractor bids. Assist with project audits. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the construction project team(s) and stakeholders. Generate and provide COIs to all clients or other third parties as needed. Utilize system to track and manage all customer COIs and renewal dates, ensuring timely follow-up for expiring policies. Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Attributes
Understanding of Cost Plus and\or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts is a must. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and familiar with accounting software (Viewpoint experience a plus). Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Exercise a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent). 3-5 years’ experience with the construction industry. Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000
