Freese and Nichols Inc, is looking for a Project Accountant in Houston, Texas with experience in project accounting with a primary focus on contract review, project maintenance, revenue recognition,  and project invoicing.  

Responsibilities:

Set-up of projects in the accounting system, reviewing and maintaining project-related documents, including contracts and amendments, revenue recognition, reviewing and approving timesheets, data analysis, and processing invoices that align with client and contract requirements.Occasional travel between offices is required, as needed.

Qualifications2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance role.Familiarity with Accounting software.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, and attention to detail with the capability of working independently.

Preferred

Prior experience within the Architect/Engineering industry preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
