Summary:

 

Plans, monitors and manages internal programs from initiation through completion. Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Responsibilities are within the Project Management function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines. 

 

Major Position Responsibilities Has P&L responsibilities for a specific programImplements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programsExecutes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customersParticipates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performancePromotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilizationSupervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specificationsEvaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metricsEnsures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulationsProvides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders

 

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associate's DegreeOR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience​​2-4 years experience​ relevant to the positions functional area

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related fieldExperience leading technical projects for DoD customers in a matrixed organizationProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationFamiliar with Integrated Product Development methods and product life cycles

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong computer skills, administrative data control, scheduling and team interfaceStrong written, digital and verbal communication skills in both an individual and team environmentLooks for ways to improve and promote qualityMust be able to possess strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and have demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the flyMust be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlinesWorks within the highest level of integrity, ethics and safetyOperates under minimal direction and exercises moderate to independent judgmentDecisions are guided by policy, procedures and business plan

Other Requirements:

Proficiency with MS Office 365 and MS Projects toolsResponsible for working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completionProfessional demeanor and presentation skills for frequent customer meetings, presentations, and site visitsWillingness and ability to travel 25% of time

Pay Range (USD) The compensation information listed is a good faith estimate range for this position, it is estimated based on what a successful applicant might be paid: $92,374.00 - $171,551.00 Benefits Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k plan and are eligible for the Non-Contributory Retirement Contribution. In addition to the benefits discussed above, the company offers the following voluntary benefits: Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Identify Theft Protection, Enhanced Legal Services, Auto and Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Commuter Benefits, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Educational Assistance.
