Programs Control Analyst

**Position: Program Control Analyst**
**Pay Range:** $35–$40/hr
**Schedule:** Hybrid (Dallas, TX)
**Duration:** Initial 6-month contract (possible extension)
**Purpose of the Position:**
The Program Control Analyst supports complex programs by collaborating with department leadership to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely financial data. This position may also provide mentorship or training to other analysts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare billing data in compliance with government procedures and guidelines.
+ Review purchase requisitions for budget availability and proper approvals; flag inappropriate expenditures.
+ Assist in budget preparation and maintenance using financial systems.
+ Generate internal and external cost/schedule and budget vs. actual reports.
+ Perform Estimate to Complete (ETC) analysis.
+ Support cost proposals in accordance with FAR, CAS, GAAP, and internal policies.
+ Assist in pricing efforts and prepare pricing volumes for submittal to customers.
+ Maintain documentation and support audits as needed.
+ Support EVMS re-baselines and Estimate at Complete (EAC) updates.
+ Deliver performance metrics and KPIs.
+ Assist with training and development of team members.
+ Support special projects and research activities.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
**Experience:**
3–5 years of related experience in finance or accounting. Audit experience is preferred.
**Skills and Abilities:**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Working knowledge of accounting principles and government regulations.
+ Strong data entry and analytical skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
