**Position Description:**
The Programmer Analyst III is a key member of the Auxiliary Services team, supporting data analysis, predictive modeling, IT infrastructure, and project coordination to improve operations and student outcomes. This role combines technical expertise in data analytics with foundational IT support, fostering collaboration across departments and enabling data-informed decision-making.

**Major/Essential Functions:**
**Data Analysis and Predictive Modeling:**
+ Identify, collect, and organize datasets related to student interactions with Auxiliary Services to build a robust data infrastructure.
+ Clean, validate, and analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
+ Utilize statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques to generate forecasts that guide strategic planning and decision-making.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
**Project Support and Technical Collaboration:**
+ Assist in the planning and execution of data-centric projects aimed at enhancing service efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data sources, streamline data pipelines, and improve data infrastructure.
+ Support the development of automated dashboards, reporting systems, and forecasting tools to provide real-time insights.
**IT Support and System Optimization:**
+ Monitor IT systems and data pipelines to ensure they operate efficiently and securely.
+ Provide troubleshooting and technical support for Auxiliary Services systems as needed.
+ Contribute to IT security measures and assist in implementing business continuity protocols.
**Communication and Collaboration:**
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and shared goals.
+ Participate in department events and projects, offering expertise in data analytics and IT systems.
+ Translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

+ Previous experience working in higher education or similar organizational settings.

**Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience. Applicants for this Security Sensitive Level II position will be subject to a criminal background check and must pass a drug and alcohol test after a conditional offer of employment has been extended, but before employment can be confirmed.
