About the team

FIS is seeking a programmer analyst to support the Wires money movement application. The team is made up of highly skilled individuals open to collaboration. Join the team and learn some of the newest technologies to the money movement ecosystem.

What you will be doing

In this role you will support a full money movement application life cycle from development to production support. You will dig into code, logs and databases to find root cause and provide efficient and effective resolution for our clients. You will immerse yourself in the Open Payment Framework applications that drive critical payment processing for FIS, our clients and their customers.

· Troubleshoot and resolve test and production environment issues.

· Tackle defect reviews for quick resolution.

· Work together across multiple teams to bring the best experience to our clients and their customers.

· Support in a rotating on-call schedule.

What you bring

· Analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.

· Experience in RESTful APIs, SOAP, and message queueing systems.

· Database management expertise in SQL. (Oracle)

· Ability to translate business payment requirements into technical specifications.

Bonus if you have

· Experience with OPF. (Open Payment Framework)

· Payment framework knowledge – ISO 20022 and SWIFT messages.

· Experience with money movement such as ACH, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow and Wires.
