This includes all pharmaceutical R&D laboratories and pilot plants. Managing such a vast and dynamic portfolio, which requires over £100 M in capital projects over the next three years focused on EHS/Life Safety, Business Continuity, Pipeline, Sustainability and Accessibility projects within our R&D facilities, presents a unique and challenging environment for professionals looking to make a significant impact at GSK. Key Responsibilities As a Program Planning and Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering all capital projects and ensuring their seamless handover to Operations. This includes updating CAD and P&ID drawings with the support of service partners and developing site Facilities Master Plans that align with business and infrastructure needs. You will also maintain up-to-date capacity and occupancy data and manage Capital SMW through service partners. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with a range of stakeholders, and contribute to the strategic planning and execution of GSK's facilities. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with the required skills to achieve our goals: Bachlors Degree in scientific area or engineering 7+ years of experience in project management disciplines (project controls, project engineering, construction and safety, procurement of equipment / goods, contractor selection / management, etc.). Experience across R&D project types - laboratory, engineering and infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Sound technical expertise and a proven track record in projects over a significant period with a focus on the application of a particular technical expertise to pharmaceutical / fine chemicals / factory utilities, research laboratory / buildings. Program management of a portfolio of diverse and complex project types. Able to focus on the front/back end of projects as well as having a management view of the design/implementation stage. Proven analytical, consulting and influencing skills. Able to promote and implement innovative processes, design and solutions.
