The work performance expectations of this individual include the following: This position functions under the supervision of the section administrator to promote and enhance state-administered adult general education programs and services. It encompasses workplace literacy and other initiatives and programs within the Adult Education System. The role involves providing shared leadership, technical assistance, consultative services, staff development, assistance to the GED instructional program, and support services to all other units within the Division. This includes providing support to local educational agencies, correctional/juvenile education programs, state and local agencies, business industry, community-based organizations, and other eligible providers under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Additionally, the role involves providing consultative services on legislative matters impacting programmatic responsibilities as prescribed by federal and state regulations, laws, and rules. Leverage advanced features of these software applications to streamline assessment-related tasks, such as data analysis, presentation development, and document creation. Quality Assurance: + Conduct ongoing reviews of internal and external data reports to maintain and enhance the quality of the state’s technical assistance resources, relevance and alignment with educational objectives. + Develop and adhere to best practices and protocols to safeguard data integrity, fostering a trustworthy foundation for informed decision-making and strategic planning. + Maintain and uphold data integrity standards throughout the data analysis process, conducting thorough checks to validate accuracy, consistency and completeness of datasets. Technical Assistance: + Provide technical assistance to local providers on how to implement and carry out Adult Education programs, services and activities. + Provides shared leadership and technical support to ensure compliance with Federal and State prescribed mandates for implementing State-administered Adult Education programs and initiatives. Webinar Development: + Participate in Quarterly adult education webinars by developing compelling and informative presentation slides, addressing relevant topics, and ensuring clarity and professionalism in content delivery. + Collect and analyze feedback from webinar participants, using insights to enhance future webinar content and presentation techniques. Professional Development: + Stay abreast of best practices, research and developments in adult education. + Assist in the creation and implementation of training sessions and professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their understanding of best practices as it relates to data analysis. + Utilize data-driven insights to tailor and refine training initiatives, providing valuable recommendations to optimize learning outcomes and support continuous improvement in professional growth strategies. + Attend professional development events as required.
