The Program Specialist leads the individual’s team, to ensure that each person is fully supported in his everyday life. Together with the individual, this professional develops, and guides services needed to help gain inclusion in the local community. The Program Specialist is dedicated to ensuring all aspects of supports are consumer driven and reflective of the agency’s mission and values.

The Program Specialist of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) serves as the point person between HCSIS and assigned Consumers ensuring ISPs are accurate, ISP Team Meeting Forms are completed, services are provided, outcomes/goals are addressed, and plans of corrections are implemented.

 

The Program Specialist of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities also ensures all Consumer services provided and the residences in which the Consumers reside are managed in accordance with regulatory and monitoring standards and policies and procedures.
