In this role, you will develop and manage quality improvement plans, monitor customer satisfaction metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position is remote, with occasional on-site support preferred for candidates located near Windsor Locks, CT. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the main liaison for customer quality activities, including reviews, audits, and senior-level presentations. * Facilitate preventive and corrective action processes across internal teams (Design, Operations, and Supply Chain). * Manage customer issues promptly to support business unit objectives. * Lead critical issue resolution activities, including 8D root cause investigations for product failures. * Use customer and internal quality metrics to develop and implement targeted improvement initiatives. * Champion quality initiatives, including the Zero-Defect Plan (ZDP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). * Identify and implement process and product improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Drive improvements in first pass yield and develop solutions impacting program quality performance. Core Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. * Background in Quality, Engineering, or Operations, preferably within the Aerospace industry. * Project management experience, with proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives. * Proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP systems. * Strong customer-facing communication skills. * Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work. * Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel or on-site support preferred near Windsor Locks, CT. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments. * Familiarity with quality standards: AS9100 and ISO 9001. * Experience leading corrective action activities and root cause analysis using 8D methodology. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., v-lookups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Office tools.
