What you'll be doing:
As the Program QA Lead, you will join the Client Service Technology, Business Banking QA team to spearhead a large, multi-year strategic program at CIBC. This initiative aims to replace core legacy platforms, digitizing, automating, and simplifying the Onboarding, Deposits, and Lending Sales journey for our team members (advisors, adjudicators, operators) and clients. Success in this role requires 10+ years of experience managing QA activities, including planning, execution, troubleshooting, and large-scale implementation. Oversee sprint planning, estimation, execution and QA delivery for feature testing across pods, and all phases of testing following CIBC process. Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to QA and other technical partners. Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary. Maximize the QA delivery by adopting Automation to have continuous testing ability across Test Environments/Testing phases to ensure QA and Business Partners achieve their strategic objectives.
How You’ll Succeed:
You demonstrate experience through previous management or leadership of an Operations, QA or Development team within Financial Services. You have previous experience leading as QA lead, Program Lead or QA Manager handling complex application testing. You have the proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment which requires leadership on multiple initiatives at a time, along with hands-on execution.
