ZF, a global automotive company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology. Is looking for our next purchasing intern.  This position will be working with cross functional global teams, with strong leadership serving as the functional expert for all purchasing activities related to a defined program.

 

Responsibilities

 

Support the program purchasing team activities, as sourcing on time/excellence tracking, costed BOM maintenance. Create purchase orders for samples and engineering changes. Work with a cross functional teams in the implementation of SAP for US production plants. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies. Understand and ensure compliance with all group directives.

 

Qualifications:

Student in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related areas. Proficient Microsoft Office user (i.e., Excel, Power Point). Fluent verbal and written English. German is a plus. Solid organizational and time/project management skills Teamwork and data oriented.
