Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re experienced in program management, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Program Manager II is accountable for the planning, directing, and execution of local and/or global projects. The Program Manager II is responsible for managing projects and project team activities in the development and launch of new products or derivatives.  The Program Manager II will direct and influence the project team to achieve project deliverables including contractual and business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness, and Cost.

What You Will Be Doing 

Coordinate and lead multiple projects of medium to high complexity and risk. Accountable for scope change management within the project. Support continuous improvement in the product development process.Presents and represents project status to customer and Woodward leadership.Manage and work through project launch teams to ensure that the project scope and outcome is achieved.Execute, monitor and control the schedule, cost deliverables, risk management and scope to meet or exceed stakeholder and customer expectations.Utilize the Woodward Product Life Cycle process to support product development.

What We Are Looking For 

Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required.  A degree in program management or a technical field is preferred.2 - 5 years of experience in a program environment or project coordination role is required.Project Management Professional) certification or a plan to achieve certification required.Green Belt certification within one year of appointment.Strong knowledge and experience with project management tools.Strong understanding of the product life cycle.Demonstrated ability to moderate and lead projects and drive technical decisions.Ability to prepare technical and strategic issues for management decisions.Strong financial acumen and use of analysis toolsDemonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks
