Join us as the Program Manager for Professional Development and Engagement at Mays Business School! In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with the Associate Director for Student Development to elevate the professional growth of our undergraduate students. Our ideal candidate will have experience with: + Crafting and managing career pathways that guide students to success + Planning and executing thrilling professional development events like case competitions and Career Exploration Night + Teaching and managing the asynchronous internship course, ensuring students gain valuable real-world experience Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience + 5 years of program and/or management experience A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess ​experience with career and professional development plans and employer relations, mid-to-large-scale event planning, coordination, and management, as well as familiarity with career management or leadership badging platforms like Symplicity and Suitable. Responsibilities Career Pathways: Supports Mays undergraduate students’ career progression by creating pathways, managing data, developing strategies for professional development and job placement, and evaluating effectiveness for continuous improvement. Event Planning: Plans and executes student development events, career fairs, and the Freshman Career Exploration Night, managing logistics, marketing, and feedback to ensure smooth and successful events. Program and Course Management: Teaches the BUSN 484 internship course, manages the college internship program, develops course materials, supports students, and monitors their progress. Employer and Campus Engagement: Collaborates with the Texas A&M Career Center and Office of Corporate Relations to engage employers in Mays high impact programs and works with campus counterparts to recruit students into the AI minor and create pipelines to master’s programs.
