Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the MISSION MODULE PROGRAM OFFICE of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. Responsibilities You will oversee and coordinate the implementation of software architectures for all current and future Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Packages, small Unmanned Surface Vessels, and other future unmanned systems. You will lead diverse team of government and contractor personnel across multiple warfare centers and agencies conducting software development, cybersecurity, and C4I related activities. You will manage development of common software baselines used by all mission packages and mission systems. You will develop strategies for improvement of software and standardized development practices across warfare centers and contractors. You will facilitate the transfer of software development efforts to production baselines and to sustainment by ensuring implementation of consistent build environments, deployment techniques and required documentation. You will oversee and develop program cybersecurity strategies and plans. You will manage accreditation/Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts, cybersecurity penetration testing, and implementation of Navy and DoD directives. You will foster relationships with warfare centers and industry to implement best practices across portfolio. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the development or implementation of acquisition strategies (e.g., cybersecurity, programmatic, technical, contractual, financial) for ship systems, subsystems or components. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point; thus the salary range may be capped at the GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $189,950. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
