ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the State Agency on the management of the USDA Foods Program.Conduct regularly scheduled meetings (weekly/monthly) with the State Agency, create agendas for monthly meetings and supply follow-up notes after each meeting outlining tasks and due dates.Attend and collaborate with the State Agency on advisory meetings, training, and preparation of documents needed for the meetings.Manage the fees associated with the State Agency and participating agencies.Maintain member district TLS data, direct delivery, Fee for Service, and Farm to Schools inventories as applicable.Review annual utilization and provide recommendations to the State Agency for annual diversions. Review annual truckload requests and collaborate with GSF Operations team to ensure equitable distribution of inbound truckloads.Maintain inventory. Create Annual POs for receipt of USDA Direct delivery trucks. Ensure inventory does not exceed 6 months of utilization, provide recommendations to the State Agency for removal of excess inventory, and ensure carryover inventory does not exceed 10% of annual diversions.Monitor Processor Inventory reports to ensure maximum utilization of pounds at processor and analyze data Collaborate with the operations team to conduct inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and provide result reports with recommended actions.Ensure proper management and following of internal SOPs, Federal and State regulations, and obtaining proper approvals.Additional Skills & QualificationsProgram managementExcel pivot tables, must be proficient in MS Office SuiteCustomer service orientedAbility to run, review, and analyze dataProvide recommendations to leadership based on data analysisAbility to create and conduct presentations and training sessionsAbility to write emails effectively to internal/external stakeholdersCoordinate and lead business meetingsMust be able to travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
