Program Manager

Actalent is hiring a Program Manager for a large Aerospace/DoD company located around King of Prussia. Job Description

Youwill be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of products. This role involves comprehensive ownership from design through to delivery, overseeing daily tasking across a multi-functional team, including engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning, and production. The role also includes acting as the Control Account Manager (CAM) of record for multiple control accounts associated with the product. You will work closely with component Certified Principal Engineers (CPE) and the Responsible System Engineer to resolve any technical issues. This challenging yet rewarding position offers significant exposure and potential for career advancement in the Program Management function.

Responsibilities

Manage cost, technical, and schedule execution for selected products, focusing on meeting delivery commitment dates.Resolve programmatic challenges within your scope and establish risk mitigation activities.Support the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status communication, and overall Earned Value Management (EVM) performance.Generate monthly Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) for current period and cumulative to date (CTD) performance of Control Accounts.Lead the design and development culture to focus on Digital Engineering and Design for 'X' to ensure efficient design and production without escapes, and enhanced communication across all functional disciplines.Develop a baseline plan and manage the overall execution of support organizations required for program success, such as Supply Chain (subcontracts and piece part procurements), Production Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Planning.Coordinate staffing requirements for your program scope with the entire program leadership team for consolidation of total program requirements.Report to the MK21A Program Manager, IPT Lead, and Responsible System Engineer (RSE) at recurring reviews within the program business rhythm.Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope.

Essential Skills

Experience developing and executing cost and schedule baselines.Understanding of Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and managing performance metrics.Experience with radar, defense, and space programs.Proficiency in Agile EVM (roadmapping, increments, etc.).5+ years of professional experience.Ability to be clearable (no clearance needed initially).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Digital Engineering and Design for 'X'.Radar experience Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Production Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Planning functions.Ability to lead a multi-functional team effectively.Strong communication and reporting skills.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120.00 - $150.00
