Summary of Job Duties:The Delta MOTHER Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Delta MOTHER program, ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of all program activities. Acting as the central point of contact, the program manager will collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and team members, playing a vital role in planning and organizing advisory board meetings.
This role encompasses all aspects of program logistics and execution, including:
Managing coordination between team members.
Facilitating program activities at various locations.
Maintaining adherence to project timelines and objectives.
As the operational backbone of the Delta MOTHER program, the manager will ensure seamless integration across the project's components, provide direct oversight of implementation, address problems, and maintain clear communication channels. Regular reporting and data collection will also be key responsibilities, ensuring progress is monitored and shared effectively.
The program manager will report any significant challenges to the Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Directors, ensuring timely resolution to maintain program momentum and success.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Nursing, Biology, or a related field PLUS four (4) years of experience in grant management or related experienceProgram coordination or management, particularly in community health, community outreach, rural health, health disparities, or entrepreneurship.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the Delta MOTHER program under the Project Director.Coordinate community outreach, education events, and preventive health screenings.Identify community providers and prenatal/infant care organizations for resource lists.Support steering committee recruitment and collaborate with staff and the Health Education Nurse.Integrate program management with clinical expertise to address maternal and infant health disparities.Plan and deliver healthcare provider education, track its impact, and develop educational modules with the IDHI team.Create annual patient education modules and collaborate on student outreach programs.Track and report grant activities, ensuring compliance with HHS policies.Generate semi-annual reports and evaluate program impact via surveys.Perform additional tasks as assigned.
