For more information visit: OEP Responsibilities This position is located in the Division of Gas - Environment and Engineering in the Office of Energy Projects. As a Program Manager, some of your typical work assignments may include: Leading staff and carrying out responsibilities in a manner that exemplifies and promotes the five leadership behaviors: communication, setting direction, implementation and achievement, fostering and promoting teamwork, and building trust and commitment. Reviewing applications and filings as they related to the constructions, restoration, and operation of natural gas projects. Reviewing the team's work product and providing effective feedback to improve work products and to be consistent with Commission policy. Assisting the team in its work in preparing research, reports, recommendations, orders, and other decisions for Commission consideration. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or National. You must provide your SF-50 (see Required Documents section). A one-year probationary period may be required. A background investigation is required. This is not a bargaining unit position. Generally, male applicants must be registered with the Selective Service. Relocation expenses will not be paid. Specialized experience is defined as: experience in the review and analysis of proposals to construct and operate natural gas facilities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
