This position splits time between the University of Maryland Institute of Advanced Computer Studies UMIACS including all of the Centers and Institutes that comprise it and the Artificial Intelligence Interdisciplinary Institute at Maryland AIM The incumbent consults on strategic event creation they plan and arrange for all elements of the event plan that was developed and they execute day of event tasks ensuring that the event runs smoothly and accomplishes its intended purpose In short the Program Manager Engagement Events amp Special Projects is responsible for all aspects of the units events from start to finish and have the full support of the units and their leadership in developing and executing impactful programming
