Work Schedule: 

This is a 100% full-time salaried position scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some off hours or weekends may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Your primary office location will be at University Hospital in Madison, WI with occasional travel to other Madison sites including American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital and 1 S. Park Clinic.

Seeking a Program Manger for Wound Healing Services with clinical expertise in wound and ostomy care to:

Work in partnership with the Program Director, Medical Director, and other leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization to improve clinical, operational, and financial outcomes associated with the care of this patient population. Provide operational oversight and performance leadership for the wound, skin and ostomy team which includes directing, evaluating, and providing feedback to professional employees. Collaborate with cross-functional inpatient and ambulatory clinical teams that work in concert to provide high-quality care to the complex wound population. Identify and collect data for benchmarking, reporting to external agencies (ex: NDNQI) and outcomes management. Identify and lead process improvement projects in alignment with the UW Health Way to generate measurable improvement. Collaborate with external vendors, Products Council, Value Analysis Committee, and other stakeholders to ensure the product line supports evidence-based clinical care.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

2 years of inpatient or outpatient wound experience Required Adult and pediatric nursing experience Preferred Leadership experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
