Amazon's dynamic Talent Acquisition (TA) team is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support our growing projects portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you'll play a pivotal role by designing and driving scalable solutions to various TA problems.
In this role, you will leverage your strong organizational skills to enable the TA team with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, thereby generating value for all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent program management skills to solve complex challenges. They are great at owning strategy of assigned work area, right from leveraging listening mechanisms, prioritizing multiple competing problems/ opportunities, designing impactful solutions, managing partnerships with stakeholders for effective implementation, and driving continuous improvement in long run. They have the ability to pull and analyze data with ease, identify process limitations, standardize processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within existing systems. This job will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence a broad range of stakeholders, while having the ability to work independently in a high ownership environment. The successful candidate will possess a bias to get things done and deliver results by navigating obstacles, while exercising sound judgment where structured solutions may not exist.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Own work area(s) in TA program management office, including their KPIs and performance improvement initiatives
• Build strategies for the future state of program and ideate on key initiatives, while keeping a tab on latest developments externally
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling into a digestible and actionable format
• Develop performance metrics to assist with driving program objectives
• Write comprehensive proposal/ presentation documents on programs, and rally support of large group of stakeholders for those
• Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency
• Work with technology teams to contribute towards development/ improvement of portals, dashboards and online tools including logic validation
• Prepare and deliver business reviews documents to the leadership team regarding progress and roadblocks
• Systematically escalate problems or variance in the operating plan to the relevant owners and teams, and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
• Communicate, both verbal and written, to convey updates on status, issues, and future plans during reviews
