EU Middle Miles Nodes Programs (MMNP) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person as a Program Manager to drive productivity and cost-reduction programs across the network.
This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various transportation, and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and lead cost improvement efforts. The successful candidate will also lead long term strategic planning, annual planning, variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed. The candidate should be passionate about developing insights, setting high standards, providing information that enables dynamic decision-making, developing mechanisms to hold teams accountable to deliver productivity improvements. Your deep analytic skills, strong business judgement, and focus on our core operational inputs will make you a critical partner to operations as you help them prioritize initiatives, identify gaps in process and performance, and remove barriers to execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners – you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed
- Build strong partnership with senior leaders to monitor the progress of projects, improve milestones tracking and identify risks and support needed
- Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes, seeing them through from start to finish
- Manage the organization's portfolio of projects, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain centralized repository for future reference and analysis
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.
- Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
- Create benchmark standards and audit process in order to streamline project reporting.
- Analyse and solving barriers with a focus on understanding root causes, collaboration improvement among multiple stakeholders and effective information flow.
